The natural area of the mouth of the Llastres River

A Mediterranean wetland, ideal for birdwatching and observing endangered fish, features a scenic wooden walkway with diverse plant life.
The mouth of the Llastres River is a Mediterranean wetland, catalogued by the Generalitat de Catalunya and located within the Natura 2000 site 'Southern Tarragona Coast'. As for fauna, it is notable for harbouring a population of fartet (an endangered fish) and for being a refuge and passage area for various migratory birds. From the wooden walkway that crosses it and connects the town of Hospitalet de l'Infant with that of Miami Platja, you can observe, among other plants, reed, tamarisk and rush.
