Punta del Riu Beach is located next to the marina of Hospitalet de l'Infant. Like Arenal Beach, it is also highly recommended for water sports. Next to this beautiful beach, 600 metres long and 70 metres wide, which connects Hospitalet de l'Infant with the municipality of Montroig del Camp, is the mouth of the Llastres River, a fine example of a Mediterranean wetland. From the wooden walkway that crosses the mouth of the river, you can observe, among other plants, reed, tamarisk and rush, as well as migratory birds and protected species such as the fartet, an endangered fish.
