Tower of Cal Capet and Portal

Historic tower with battlements, semi-circular portal, and stone staircase, offering a glimpse into medieval defense and prison history.
Tower that defended one of the town's gates. It was built in the 12th or 14th century as part of the rampart, along with the Ca la Torre tower and the castle itself. It is 16 m high and is defended by battlements on the inner and outer faces, where the gate arches are located. On the outer face, there is a chamfered, semi-circular portal. The side facing the town has two additional side doors, one of which is bricked up. The lower level is accessible from the street via a stone staircase. It was also known as the Prison Tower, as it was also used for this purpose.
